Herman Miller unveiled their new chair.
Designed by Yves Behar from fuseproject, the SAYL chair is sure to be a pretty big seller coming in at $399. Especially when compared to the current industry leader the Aeron which starts around $799.
I met Yves once at the fuseproject studio when we met with them to design the Nixon headphones. He was nice enough. Mitch, who pitched us on the studio and what their capabilities were, spent most of the time with us and then Yves came in with his curly hair, tight jeans and tucked in shirt and said a few things. Then *poof* was gone. We hired them. Let's just say that Nixon paid a lot of money for design that year.
