since I've seen this guy. He was such a cute little puppy when we brought him home from the shelter. Which then turned into the nightmare/crazy puppy. But always remained loyal and fun. Keeping us up all hours of the night. Peeing everywhere. Howling at a leaf or shadow. Chasing the cats. But again, always awesome when he looks at you or is in his zone. Now he's a year old. Happy Birthday, doggie.........I hope you mommy is making you wear a silly hat.
when we first got him, I wanted to name him something like knucklehead, or harley, or a human name like Dusty Miller, but Rufus.......Rufus was perfect from the get go.

whisk(e)y time
so this mystery package arrives for me at work from my home in california. Then I remember that Leigh Anne said she was going to mail me all stuff that had been send to our house in California. But the box was too heavy. Upon opening it, there was a neat little package with great wrapping paper and a cute littel tag.
Upon opening this gift my eyes viewed this glorious whiskey drinkin' set. Two glasses and 6 whiskey rocks from Teroforma.

(not the) brooklyn invitational
I had great plans to take photos of the weekend's festivities. Then I realized there were a bunch of people already taking photos and realized they would probably capture it better than me. So then I decided to just take pictures of people. Didn't do that................so I took pictures of Works Engineering on North 14th Street. They let me store my bike there overnight. I'll probably wind up using their monthly service/storage once I finally get a place in the BK. well, hopefully.

Labor Day in the Hudson Valley
Woke up, ate some everything bagels, picked up the sporster from Kickstart Cycle Supply, dealt with cops as my dads car got hit by a lady pulling a 'hit and run' while getting my bike, rode to my mom's house, ate some fruit with her, then rode back to dad and Jackie's place.
then proceeded to get stung by a yellowjacket on my temple riding up my dad's driveway.
still, overall, not a bad day.
evidence that Matt was near my bike before or right after the Gypsy Run

Last Day - time for a break
well the day/moment had come yesterday where I finally had to accept the fact that this shovel was not going to get finished before I left for the east coast. Overall, I'm pleased with where everything is. There is still a lot of work to be done and a final direction to figure out, but compared to what this bike was the day it was picked up in crates and pieces in the back Chris'struck to where it is now is a pretty good sign of more fun times to come.

for sale : 2 Up Chopper Seat - cycle zombies SOLD
seat is SOLD
I picked up this seat from Turkey this past weekend at the Long Beach Swap for my shovel head and its just not gonna work for the project. Turk made it and had it on his bike and it fit perfectly on his stock geometry frame.
The tube that is attached to the seat pan just slides into the stock seat tube of the frame and then the two bolts on the rear of the seat attach to your fender.
I'm asking $100 which is what I paid for it. Hit me up for some sweet chopper gold!
