Locals Only, bro

While my Rainbows are my staple choice for sandals, nothing beats a pair of Locals for their simplicity and memories. When I spent time in Hawaii some 10 years ago while in college I learned of the greatness that Longs Drugs would provide. Everyone bought their Locals there.

When you would go to a party, everyone would take their sandals off and there would be this pile of flip flops. It seemed that at the end of the night, you would just grab whatever pair fit you and hit the road.

Now I know what it feels like to be stared at when you take your bicycle on the subway. I brought it to work to see how long it would take from work back to Brooklyn. Turns out to be the same as taking the subway.
